Default i am noticing air bubbles in my sand bed.......

i am noticing air POCKETS in my sand bed it build up within weeks i dont no if its bad or not but i have a couple of sand sifting snails and one sand siffting starfish i mean like when i noticed it now i got a plastic spoon and jabbed the sand bed to relase them it looks like a bunch of tiny bubbles going to the top is this bad i mean i have not noticed it since now.... what should i do if it is bad cause i only poked were i saw air pockects so imagaine were else they are were i cant see .....
