I am going through 5 gallons every other day. I cant deal with that little thing they call a calcium dispenser.

The only reason I'm using kalk is to keep my ph at 8.2.
The pump draws RO/DI out of the reservoir; it pushes the water through the check valve into the calcium dispenser. If installed correctly, there is no way for the kalkwasser water to be drawn back into the check valve which is situated above the top of the bottle. That's the way it's supposed to work, anyway.

Like you, I only use Kalk to maintain PH. I use Kent Turbo Calcium to supplement what my SPS use...

When I do my weekly water changes, I replace the unused Kalk that remains in the dispensers. Takes about 5 minutes. My 180 gets 7 tsp of Kalkwasser every week, while the 95 gets 2 tsp.
