Re: Doesn't ANYONE quarantine their fish before selling anymore?? A quarantine tank can be done very cheaply. I've given price breakdowns in the past and I usually come up with everything costing under $50 if purchased new, or you should be able to find everything that you need at a garage sale for under $20. That is less than that cost of purchasing a single fish and can save a fortune with preventing lost livestock. Just remember, all it takes is one seemingly healthy fish to contaminate your whole tank.
