Mr Blundell, thanks for your article on the Fiji reefs...very informative. Would there be a possibility of posting your articles on lighting maybe in series sort of thing. Your article that addresses what par levels are necessary for the different types of animals, in my opinion, really hits on some important points. With the increasing popularity of T5 and VHO lighting the understanding of par/lumens in our tanks is becomming a real neccesity. I think the misconceptions of what watts per gallon really means (a measurement of energy and not light) when related to MH and T5 is very rarely discussed. Your articles helped me understand these things in a better way. Thanks.

| Wow, those articles are fantastic. I am constantly hearing that natural sunlight is not good for a home aquarium and I have always thought how odd that was. I always thought, well as long as you dont have excess nutrients in the tank for algae to grow, natural sunlight should be beneficial, right? So after reading your article about the sun, I have made my conclusion! Thank you!

Here's another thought. I'm playing around right now with filtered sunlight. Picture this. Take your living room window and cover it with blue window tint. Now build an aquarium in front of it. Hey, 20K light hitting your tank all day for free! I'll see what I can do to address lighting issues in upcoming articles. Again, thanks for the posts. It is pretty tough to write articles without any idea if people like what you're writing about. Suggestions for topics are always welcomed. Adam

Sounds like someone likes TMBG Yep. And I'm raising my daughter on it. She is only 9 months old but we only play TMBG when she is in the car. Adam

Staying with the theme of lighting it sounds like you all would like some more info and food for thought. June's article will be on lighting, and I believe Ryan will have it published and online today (although he is out of town at the IMAC conference so we'll see if he can get it up). Thanks, hope you enjoy it. Adam
