Yup! It is entirely up to the clown.

It took my clown 7 months to find something she wanted as a host, and it was a feather duster. Less than a month later she discovered one of my anemones. Its entirely up to the clown, and to some extent chance, though I think the vast majority of clowns will eventually find something to act as a host for them.

DO yuo have any other fish in there?
This poor fish has been so overbread many dont care about hosting. Clowns like tomato's host with no problem.
This doesnt mean it never will. It could do it at anytime or never.

Do you have a refuge?
The maroon maynot let it host anything.
The maroon may also kill off any other clowns you have.

Is it wild caught or captive bred?,
I bought a wild caught maroon and white and it hosted after about three weeks or so.... it takes time. Read about some other people clowns who host in quite a variety of things....its pretty intresting

What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
