Icon5 Can False Percula Clownfish defend anemone against an Emporer Angelfish?

I have a False PerculaClownfish, Juvenile Emperor Angelfish, Anthias, 6-line Wrasse, 3 Damsils and an Hawaiin Puffer fish in a 72-gallon tank. Assuming that I can get an anemone that my clownfish will host, would he successfuly defend it against the Emperor Angelfish that has a reputation for eating coral? If I get another clownfish would they work better as a team? Are my coral eating fish even interested in the stinging tentacle anemones that my clownfish likes or are they after spongy coral?

Clownfish can and will defend their hosted territories against much larger fish, no matter the species. They will sometimes even try nipping at your hand if you get to close (even though it doesn't hurt .) Emperor Angelfish usually will not go after an anemone for a snack, mainly because instincts warn them about the hostility of stinging tentacles. They usually do prefer more spongy corals. And yes, two clowns over one would defend (and even feed) the anemone from predators, although I don't think you would have to worry with an Emperor Angel.
