Re: What Is The Normal Length Of Time For An Anenome To Split Usually, an anemone splitting happens over a very short time frame, like a single night or possibly a couple days. 3 1/2 weeks is much longer than normal, but that doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong. Try feeding it 1/2 a silverside every other day for a few days and see if that gets it to complete the split.
As for anemones and actinic lighting, actinic lighting has no known benefit for anemones health, although it might help with certain reproduction aspects.
