 the best anemones for relationships what is the best anemone to get with a false perc clown. I have what seems to be a pink/purple tip anemone and I bought my clown at PETCO. My clown is totally not even interested I dont know If its the clown or the anemone. the anemone has been in the tank for about 6-8 weeks. any suggestions would help. Maybe I need a different anemone?  |

| Re: the best anemones for relationships You probably have Condylactis anemone, of which very few clownfish will host with. Natural hosts for perculas are a couple species of Sebae and Carpet anemones, but most people can get a percula to host in a bubble tip anemone (BTA) over time. Due to the difficulty or dangers of the perculas natural hosts, most people choose to start out with a BTA as their host initially.
