Yes. Some Anemone's can be toxic if they die or sting other corals though.

This is a topic that goes back and forth on the argument. An anemone will be safe in the aquarium as long as it doesn't come in contact with your coral. Many ppl keep anemones with coral and there isn't a real problem. However, if your anemone decides to start roaming it might kill any coral in its path. Some people try to get around this issue by buying anemones that like their foot in the gravel and keep there corals up higher.

Its safe to do as already mentioned, BUT if the anemone touches any of your corals... Say bye bye to them... I've lost a nice montipora cap to my anemone and a very nice blue tipped staghorn acro.. Surprisng enough though my corky finger survived the potent stings of the anemone and now looks better then it ever has The sps however were expensive losses
