Default Anenome Care

I have a newly cycled tank and I was wondering about getting a live anenome for my pecula clowns. I was hearing that there is a specific algae that they need. I didnt start with live rock so I don't have any type of growth on the rocks besides this brownish algae that seems to be consuming everything in my tank. I have been building up my clean up crew to help with that, my parameters are good:
PH-8.2
NITRITE-0
NITRATE-0
CALCIUM-400
DKH-12?
I WANT TO START SOME CORILLAN ALGAE SOON PUPLES MOSTLY. BEEN USING SOME OFF THE SNAILS I HAVE TO KINDA SEED THE TANK A LITTLE. HOPEFULLY THAT WILL HELP START IT OFF. I JUST FOUND A FREIND WHO HAS A NICE REEF TANK GOING TO SEE IF HE HAS SOME RUBBLE LIVE ROCK TO SPAIR. HELP GIVE MY ROCK A JUMP START.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP OUT A LITTLE THAT WOULD BE GREAT!
THANKS

anemones are hard animals to keep i would recomend being in the hobbie for a year or so before you get one try an easier coral first to build some confidence it will save the animal and some frustration on your part your clowns will be alright without one and they might not even host one after you get one i don't mean to preachor anything but anenomes are ecologically improtant on the reef anemone fishes can't survive on the reef without one but can in the aquriums so when we take them form the reef and kill it we not only killed the anemone but all generations of fishes on the reef that would have hosted it

Is there some suggestions you can give my to start with. Not to sure myself. I ordered an artificial anenome just to give them a host we will see how that works. I would like to get something going thow. What about zooxanthella I know its an algae but how can I start some. I know the invertabrates need this simple algae. I'm a pretty confedent about keeping an anenome but want the conditions to be right for him.
Thanks Sara

zooxanthella is an algea that lives in your corals and anemones this is what feeds the corals and such you should invest with some live rock that is where you will get your coriline alges from your brown alges are usually from high phosphates which yhou will need to get under control in order to house anything what light do you have and do you have a protien skimmer? also do you have adiquite water flow?

I don't think an artificial anemone will work for hosting purposes. Zooanthellae is a symbiotic organism that lives within anemones. They provide food to the anemone from sunlight exposure. You cannot grow this in your aquarium. It comes with the anemone. I suggest getting some reading material on anemone care. Most anemones will not adjust to tanks that have just been setup. Most ppl recommend 6months to a yr before actually purchasing an anemone. Also, reading up on the species you are buying is a must since they all require slightly different substrates, lighting, and water flow. HTH
