Default losing color

when i first got my clowns they were both pretty active. 2 week later 1 is still bright and the other seems to be getting darker in color and just swimming close to my LR. i checked my water levels and everything was ok. he still seems healthy just losing color and less active than he once was. any ideas what it could be?

My ocellaris clowns have both darkened on the upper half of their backs. I checked out wet web media and the two responses I got was possible stress and the second (which I think it is) a change in lighting. I changed out my pc bulbs after I got them and they are located on the upper half of the tank. They eat and interact with their tankmates well...water parameters are fine...I'm just wondering when they'll change back !

what are you feeding them? most of the time their color and activeness is due to their diet. make sure you are feeding them properly!

i feed them frozen enriched brine shrimp and small pellet food once in a while. but i found out the 1 i thought was losing color is a (super black?) and he's still alive and doing good so i guess he might just be going though puberty. but when he starts growing under fin hair im taking him back.

Formula one frozen food is one of the best foods for a clownfish's diet. It was specifically designed for clownfish and contains many vitamins and proteins to keep your little clown healthy and happy
