I've had my LTA for a week and a few days now and my stupid tank bred false percula's still have no idea what it's for! I'm hoping 'natural instinct' will take over one of these days. I've been feeding the anemone frozen brine and then sprinkling the rest right around it's tenticles in hopes that the clowns will go in but still nothing.

Is there a timeframe where I should give up hope of the clowns hosting?

At least the anemone settled in a good place for viewing (and feeding).

Hosting can range anywhere from a few minutes to a few years, it all depends on the clownfish

yeah, I had a LTA with a tomato clown in my previous tank, Took about two weeks before it decided to go in. Came home from work one day and there he was inside.

One suggestion I have if you want a clown with a host. Buy them together from the same tank at your LFS.

They generally will host right away. Atleast that has been my experience.
