| Frank, Wondering what kind of anemone you have? Is it an Indo-pacific, Caribbean, long-tenacled? etc. If you are not sure and have Marine Invertebrates Pocket Handbook by Shimek, you can find out more info. Some long tenacled types have strong stinging cells and some like the pizza anemone have a painful sting to humans, killing fish and corals...BEWARE... I had a Haiten one when I first started out with saltwater, it was cheap ($5.00) and pretty, but started killing my little fish... Eventually, I fed him to my chocolate chip starfish. He was happy for a week after that banquet. I hope your fish don't have ich. |

| well, i think the allergic reaction fihs get fomr corals and anemones are black spots, not white. just google blacks spots on fish and also google ich and take a look at the pics. that will answer the question.
