Default Maited Clownfish scared of goby

I just recently bought a mated pair of clownfish, just this past Saturday...He seems fine but a little scared of my engineer goby??? But when it comes to her she is terrified of the engineer goby, she basically sits and bairly swims in the bottom front corner of my tank. As for the male, he's swimming everywhere except close to my anemone...I'm just asking has anyone ever had an intimidating engineer goby or is my female clownfish just a intimidated one????

How recently did you purchase the clowns?
Is the Goby actually bullying them?

When I got my clowns for the first 3 - 4 days they pretty much stayed in the same small corner of the tank. This is still their spot, but, they now cruse arround the tank and interact with the others. Alot of the clowns sold now-a-day's are bred in tanks and have never had to share a tank with a member of another species. So it is natural that they would be scared of something they have never seen before.

I've actually seen the engineer goby run them out of there corner and nipping at them. I've been keeping an eye out on them and hope that neither of the clowns get hurt. I've got a 55 gallon tank and only three fish and they fight over the same corner...Before I put the clowns in there I had 3 damsels which of course were not bothered by the goby...

I've had the goby for about 3 weeks now and he's always been really timid too but when I introduced the two clownfish and took the three damsels out he has went crazy and acts like he rules the tank. Of course he is about 7-8 inches long apposed to the 2-3 inch clowns but still before he only stayed under the biggest rock in my tank and came out when the lights were off...

My guess is, if you just keep an eye on them to make sure things don't get out of hand they will sort out a pecking order on their own and someone will move out of that corner and find a new home.

I really wish the eel would just take the stupid corner and my clownfish would actually come to the front of the tank...

I'm sorry on this one but the anemone I am unsure of...I bought it for a cheap price of 8.99 at the LFS when I only had the tank for two weeks. He has done fine but I know I was told at the LFS that he was fine with the little light I had which was two 65 watt flourescents...(I have since upgraded to 2 X 250 Watt Halides, 4 X 65 Watt PCS, and Blue Moon LEDs)

Oh, and for the clowns and the goby...the clowns have taken the corner while the goby is now nestled under a rock where I spent ten minutes looking for in my tank after work tonight...
