Default whats a good anemone?

I'm wanting to have clown fish of course in my tank. What is a good anemone that has long tenticles that the clowns can live in. I'd want something that is either colorful or has good vibrance in the right light. I'm not sure if I like the short tenticle anemones as much as the long ones though.

I am not sure about the exact name, but these come in light brown, pink, and light green color. these guy's are not exspensive, and they will look great in you'r tank. I would buy two clown fish(same kind), and eventually they will become a mated pair. The clown fish that decide's he is the dominate one will turn into the male, and of course the second one will be the female, now keep in mind that they will have to be a young pair in order for this to take place. I would try to get one that was a lil bigger than the second, if you choose to go that route...............sorry I can't be of more help with the name of the anenome you are wanting.

I anemones need strong lighting, either with at least T5 or MH.
A Bulb Tipped Anemone's are among the easiest to care for.

I have found that feeding a anemone can take the place of strong lighting.

A bubble anemones the best one I have had! The clown fish really like it. It moves around a lot, but can be glued down to be made stationary. If you have soft corals i would reccomend this!

Super glue. They sell it at the fish store. I thought it was crazy at first too, but if you have soft coral, an anemone can pretty much destroy it.

Default carpet & tube anemone

I have a carpet and a tube anemone. They are both very pretty, but I would not recommend either as they are both toxic and agressive. (Mine were gifts). I think the tube is responsilbe for the death of a mandarin and a foxface, but maybe it was the carpet? Anyhow, my clowns didn't pair with either anemone but with a steady diet of prawns and large brine the anemones are now 3 years old and have grown considerably. see attached.
