Default Clownfish acting different

I was wondering about my clownfish, he seems to be acting different. He is swimming at the top of the tank and sometimes is completely long ways in the tank and looks as if he is gasping for air at the top of the tank. He doesn't seem to have anything wrong with him like color change or spots on him he just seems to be acting different and not as active as he usually is. Should I be concerned?

How long has the tank been set up, and how long have you had the clown?

tank has been set up for almost 5 months and the clown has been in my tank for about 3 months. Have also lost 2 damsels over the past week, I think they might have ich. I did a 7 gallon water change today and have added some meds. also did a check on all my levels, they are were they should be.

uhhh i am no expert but aren't damsels pretty hardy fish? if you had 2 die, i think there is something really wrong with your water. When you say hes swimming long ways you mean hes swimming vertically right? I heard this might mean the fish is having a hard time breathing, but not sure. You really should not keep your clown in the tank if 2 damsels just died in it though 0.o. Sorry if my advice is incorrect, i am still learning!

Please post tank perameters... What is your set up? sump? LR? LS? other livestock? When did you last add anything? Any other issues with the tank - algae problems???
