I Just bought 2 clown fish and just untill a little while ago they were in seperable now they are on oppsite sides and the big one has been digging a hole in the sand and swiming in it what is going on? is it laying egg??

thats kinda cool! lol, but i really dont think they will lay eggs just like that. they would do that when they are hosting an anemone. And their eggs will be like right nest to or under the anemone..
are your clowns just smal or adults?
