Default pairing clowns

so i have decent sized false percula, about 1 and half inches? i was wondering if i wanted to pair him up, could i get a really small false percula so it is automatically established which one is dominant, or do i have to get one that is similar size? i am just scared for them to fight all day and rip each other up :X

It's best to get a smaller one (but not too small) and have plenty of places it can hide. Depending on the size of your tank and other fishes in it, you'll probably be OK. Do you have an anemone that they can host in?

My experience with clowns is that I purchased a trio as juveniles; one became the dominiant female, one the dominant male and one a subdominant male. LOL

You still could try it. You might want to cover the tank to keep it dark for 24 - 72 hours.
