Icon14 Feeding Anemones

I just got a pink tip anemone. What and how do i feed this guy. He is good size and has been doing great, but i hear of people actually feeding theirs, should i be doing the same?

You can feed it krill & silversides just drop a chunk above it and it should catch or you can place the food near the mouth.

I’ve heard that it’s not wise to feed meat to anemones but it was so hard for me to resist too.

I used to feed mine frozen misis shrimp. I would thaw it out in a little dish then target feed with a turkey baster. About twice a week. Worked great never had a problem with it. The clown and anemone are still doing good a year and a half later in my friends tank.
