Default BTA on the move

Ok so i bought a BTA from my LFS about a week ago and i though it found its spot it this hole on my rock work so then a moved some zoa's that were on a different rock above it so it would get more light. Then yesterday looked at the tank and saw that it is moved into a spot with very little light and the only way you can see it is if you look through the top of it even then you can only see a little peice. So my question is: Is there anyway i can kinda make it move so that you can see it from the front of the tank? I mean i did not pay 60 buck to not beable to see it!

If you move it it will just go where ever it wants best bet is to leave it till it finds a happy home. I have a LTA it has been in my tank for 4 months and it finnally came out from behind the rocks for the first time ever last night.

Patience is a virture...BTA's like to find a crevice to plant their foot and retract their column when threatened. Just like every living creature, they like to find their "niche in society." It will come out in time. The important thing is to give it the best possible environment -- What's your lighting like? What are your water parameters? Does it have a clown or two to host? (Sometimes a clown or two can coax it out.)

THANK YOU! This is my exact feeling with my bubble tip- but so far everyone is agreeing to leave it be. I just keep hoping he will perch on the front rock in the open middle of the tank to view! Good luck with yours!

you know....there was an article that I believe our "elder statesmen" found at some point entitle "be a host to your anemone" I'll have to do some digging....tomorrow to see if I can find it again...really was a good article and seems like lots of people are getting BTA....*thinking out loud for a minute* Becky why don't you see if you can find it too and add it to the Library.
