My seabae died. I decided to get something different. I was in the lfs and they had a anemone i little bigger than a silver dollar. It is purple and they called it a mat anemone It wasn't too exspensive so I got it. When I put it in the tank, my maroon clown went to it as soon as I set it down. It started grabbing it with its mouth and pulling it around the tank. The clown is bigger than the anemone but lays all over it. Can anyone tell me about this kind of anemone.

I don't know what kind of anemone you have but maroons are known for being very rough on anemones. I'd watch it closely, your maroon may kill it. Do you have any pictures? Could it be a mini carpet?
