Default My bubble tip not ok?

My bubble tip ane. seems like it not doing ok. I recently had to take some LR out of the tank to clean some glass ane. off them. And I don't know if I bothered it or not, but I have found 2 pieces of him on the bottom of the tank, the last piece was today. I took the rocks out like 3-4 days ago. It does seem to be hunched over alittle? any advice will help.

did you put him back in the same spot, if not he may have liked that spot, sometimes, from what I have heard, you have to move ane. around a bit, till you find the right spot in the tank, then they seem to do well. also, is it dying off (?) or just breaking off peices. I am still learning about reef tanks, working on setting mine up, hopefully one of the members can be of more help to you. sorry

he is in the same spot that he has always been in, I bought some LR with him on it already. The person said he ws there for about 8 months, now the water flow is different then her tank, and so is the water in general. But he hasn't moved yet. I saw another piece of him stuck to the filter yesterday night, I hope that he is not dying, he is just a nice looking BTA, and well my first and only one

How's the BTA doing?

They are fairly hardy. How long has your tank been up? The rule of thumb is adding an anemone when your tank is about 6-9 mons old minimum. Make sure you have enough light, because they are predominantly photosynthetic. Part of mine got caught in the intake of my overflow and lost about 2" of its tentacles. It survived and has healed. I waiting to see if it will regenerate the part lost.
