Need Advice on filters PLEASE!!!

Posted 01-18-2008 at 02:06 PM by AndreaM
I have been reading this site for the last couple of weeks looking for all the answers I could on my reef to be tank. I currently have a 125 gal. tank and I currently have a canister filter that I use. It is made for 150 gal. I have a protein skimmer and a couple of powerheads running. I have a haitian anenome with 2 curlyQ anenomes with a pair of clowns and a blue damsel and a green chromis and a coral beauty and a pajama cardinal. I am looking to get into some corals and adding some tangs and a big angelfish. I am ordering a sump and an overflow box. I have read that the bio-balls are bad? I do have small LR to put down there instead. Any suggestions for the first corals to buy? I am excited to get some. I will be purchasing a new light too which 10,000K and 03 acintic blue lamps and 420nm with the lunar LED 470. Should I change out the canister and if so what do i need Please Help!!!!!!!
