i am new havent got tank yet just need advice

If you must get a Damsel fish for cycling purpose, avoid getting the strip (black and white) damsel. These fishes are too aggressive for future livestock. Use the Green Chromis instead. These are within the Damsel family and just as hardy. Best of all...once your tank is fully cycle, you dont have to spend hours trying to catch these fishes since they are already a peaceful community fish themselves! If you're planning on getting a Tang, just remember they are extremely aggressive towards their own kind. For the Yellow Tang, you can get away with this by introducing both of them to your aquarium at the same time.
