I broke a thermometer in my Nano HELP!

I broke a thermometer in my NANO tank today, am I screwed? I just did a water change and everything checked out cool until I found the thermometer broken with all the little merc pellets missing. What should I do?

Since mercury is a realy nasty poloutant it has been outlawed for several years now.Unless your thermometer is very old it is more than likely alcahol filled.I might also point out that you may have gotten a faster response to this if you had posted up in the regular threads.
