150 gallon

I have my tank up and running, see attached photo. I am not too please with aquascaping. I heard it is not good to place the live rock close the back of the tank, yet I see a lot tanks with it right against the glass in the back. It would seem to me that would make it difficult to find a missing (dead one) since they like to hide.
I have my power heads opposite each other about halfway down the side walls.
I want to do this right, so please any suggestions would be appreciated. We have Unicorn Tang, 2 clown, firefish, hipo, chromis, neon dotty back, pink wrasse, buddha cardinal, 2 cleaner shrimp, blue face, hermit crabs and snails.
I welcome any suggestions on how to improve our tank.
Thank you
Ken
