hi, i haven't been marine keeping for very long and im getting some hectic things growing in my tank. i have these massive green bubble things appearing all over the place are they a good or bad thing? i have noticed that one or two have popped dont know if this will affect the water. i also have this red plant growing is that also a type of algae it has yellow spots when just under the marine blue. and finally i have loadsa grass like fur growing on my LR's how can this be kept to a minimum because picking out all the time is lame. hope someone can help me

    bubble algae is partially normal and is in some tanks sought after and prized however it can spread rapidly and overcrowd things in your aquarium. u can manually remove them by simply scraping them off the rock. the red plant is most likely red macroalgae which isn't bad. as for the hair algae you can try cutting down on how long your lights are on or put more flow on your rocks.
