Update

Posted 01-23-2008 at 07:18 PM by Wrasse lady
Well, it's been four days and they are so small I had to get out a magnifying glass. I can't tell what they are yet, will have to wait. My LRS said they could even be something totally different, will have to wait till they get a little larger. No fish claiming them, but I guess this is normal. What ever they are, at least they are still alive!

weird growths

Posted 01-22-2008 at 12:52 PM by rarucas
We are a new family to the whole reef tank thing. We've had our tank,55 gal., for about 6 months. I've noticed these new growths on almost all of our live rocks. The only way to describe them is that they look like little chimneys that have these strings coming out of them at night or when the water gets stirred up. Are these bad or good? I assumed they were good, since they are growth that we have not put in there purposely ourselves. Please don't laugh at my ignorance, but I've also noticed...

Tank raised oscellaris (nemo)

Posted 01-22-2008 at 11:13 AM by capitalb
I've got a few thousand clown fish I need to move to make room for my tank raised mandarins. I am in New Jersey and would rather not ship, but will if necessary. You will be able to read about my mandies in TFH in the upcoming months.
