ok, i just recently upgraded my 55 to a 90 gallon and im doing away with my pc and want some real lighting. i have a canopy that opens from the top. almost like a chest. i was thinking metal halides but im not sure what length to get. then i was also thinking t5 retro kit with an ice cap. IM SOOO CONFUSED!!!! please help with any suggestions that you have. as far as some corals that i want, i do want hard and soft corals. maybe a clam or so. maybe more, im not sure... i know that i just need some...

first i want to say sorry for not doing more research on this forum. i should have read and looked over everything i possibly could before posting. im new to this obviously, im trying really hard to have a great setup i need to take my time. i know this isnt easy but this is one thing i would like to accomplish and maybe have a career in. im going to start doing my research on everything ican think of. poo....sorry guys.

I'm in over my head good thing I'm a good swimmer.

My tank has no live rock yet and two fish and one hermit crab one of the fish just got ick so I need to find out how to treat him with out messing up the tank.

My tank has been running on a canister filter for some time now so I'll need to finish my sump I'm making out of an old ten gal tank and PLEX so far so good but I need to get moving.

I've been told to get a test kit but I'm a little short on money....

I have my tank up and running, see attached photo. I am not too please with aquascaping. I heard it is not good to place the live rock close the back of the tank, yet I see a lot tanks with it right against the glass in the back. It would seem to me that would make it difficult to find a missing (dead one) since they like to hide.

I have my power heads opposite each other about halfway down the side walls.

I want to do this right, so please any suggestions would...
