Update

Posted 01-23-2008 at 06:18 PM by Wrasse lady

Well, it's been four days and they are so small I had to get out a magnifying glass. I can't tell what they are yet, will have to wait. My LRS said they could even be something totally different, will have to wait till they get a little larger. No fish claiming them, but I guess this is normal. What ever they are, at least they are still alive!

Help! I have fry in m tank, suspect my pair of leopard wrasses

Posted 01-20-2008 at 11:45 AM by Wrasse lady

I only have one pair of fish in my tank, my Leopard Wrasses. Last night a birthing sak floated around my tank, then I say about ten very small live fish under a rock. I have no idea what to do! I feed my ventralis (sp?)anthias prawn eggs, so I put some in - what could I feed them? They most likely won't live, but I have to try! I turned off the circulation power heads, still have my main pumps going to my refugium....if this is the wrasses breeding, has not been done in captivity, this was...
