Reef Builders - The Source for Reef Keeping Information

I purchased a tank, I reverse osmosis'd my water, I purchased good substrate, I purchased over 120 pounds of live rock locally fromn someone getting rid of there existing tank. After 4 days decided I might was well buy a testing kit to see how my cycling was coming along, figuring it would still be in the ammonia stage (based on what I have read). After check the the Ammonia and 0 ppm and checking nitrates at 0 ppm and checking nitrites and falling where they need to be I am totally confused....
