Yes I know, "don't be crazy!!" but Guy's I got a sea apple in my 300gl reef tank.. Anyone had luck keeping one of these?? and advise? I'm feeding him reef plankton/DT's
seems really happy, the tank fish are mainly tangs, no angels and or copperbands or any other fish that would pick at him.. I guess my question to all is it posible to keep one of these and keep a happy reef.

Also if one were to die in a 300gl reef tank would it still wipe out the tank?

Keeping Tangs together

Posted 03-09-2008 at 02:46 PM by Tommylee22
I was wondering if keeping a Powder Blue tang with a yellow eye, flame tip and a yellow tang would work in a 300gl reef.. I have the three together now and they are doing great together, they actually swim together a nd graze the rock... I really want a powder blue to complete my fish fro the tank and I know they get territorial.. what do you think go for it or should I not risk upsetting the fish with a new tang??
