| I really want to win this tank. I have been doing research on nano's for the past few weeks. This would be an awesome thing to win because then I can get started sooner, and post pics and read comments from other aquarists who are more experienced or people just getting into can read from my journal and learn from me who is also just starting out. I am gettin a new Canon SD 700 so I can take lots and lots of pics which is want everyone likes to do and look at! |

| DanaKor In case there is a mistake I am not giving a 12gal. NANO Tank away I'm hoping like you that REEF BUILDERS is giving one away I would like too start up a living rock moving towards a full Reef. I would share my photo's from beginning to finish, I have friends with soft and leather coral's as well as hard coral's taken snippetts from their lager peices they grow and trade or sell. Mostly trade to make up their reef's SnowWolf |

| Planarians.org - Home to Flatworms! Here's a link about Planarians it's a strange lil' worm that if you slice the head with xacto or scapel it will grow two heads then slice body it will split into 2 worms these worms are voracious detritus eaters. Fish, anenomes, corals, love them once established will keep breeding restocking your tank. Also start some in a small tank too replenish your systems if you are lucky to have more than one. | http://www.peteducation.com/search_action.cfm?cls=0 Acropora / red bugs Identification: One of the most recent "pests" who have now become prevalent is a very small crustacean that looks like a mite and appears to prefer most species of Acropora corals. This crustacean is yellow in color with a red dot, approximately 1/2 mm in length, and is very difficult to see without a magnifying glass. It has been theorized that red bugs are either a parasitic form of copepod or micro-amphipod, though very little research has been done and their true identification is not complete at this time, one way to control the pest's is with a DragonPipe fish also known as a Dragonface pipe fish Here's another link ya'all might check out pure White Copepods & Micro-amphipods are not harmful to your tank all species of fish,coral,anenomes love to eat them, they flow in the planktonic-drift and come out at night with the Moon cycle feeding your corals etc. Micro-amphipods or one common name is Scud's are little shrimp that eat detritus and swim around in your filter/refugium system etc. If caught in the pump will be eaten shortly by your fish, anenomes, soft or leather coral. | I would love to start a new tank to use for just inverts!!! |
| ||||
| William1 Why just inverts. Mix it up with many different spiecies, even if your worried of spread of disease you can clean inverts. just like fish & corals with proper meds. and dips one of the neatest inverts. is the Cerianthus or tube anenome makes a long tentacled flower of beauty and are rather easy to keep in your tank. I have seen invert. tanks that are rather beautiful with many color's to choose from it's up too you. SnowWolf |
