It would give me something that my daughter and I could share. My current tank is too big for her to enjoy and help me with. This hobby is something that I would love to share with her and I feel that this is something that she would take with her always.

If you pick me and my family for this prize, I would be grateful.

Thank you for the consideration.

hey, I want to wish everyone good luck on this nano tank, I received a phone call late last night, the young lady that bought my tank is having twins. Now you wonder what that has to do with anything, well she has offerd my baby back to me at a price I can afford (WOW). I will send a picture when I set the tank up, I will even show a before and after. I am not sure as to how it will look from the start, but with time I should have it back to my satisfaction. I would like to have the nano tank for my new office, but I would like to see someone get it that does not have a saltwater tank. I know that if they get one, they will never go back to fresh water. :>)

Ansphire, I may be wrong about this but a nano tank may not be the easiest place to start. Becasue of thier small total volume of water waterstability can be hetic.

Larger tanks are more forgiving but of course more expensive.

Well you got me that way also, and am I glad to have found this great site. Just like everyone else I would love to win this nano tank. I hae been in the hobby for about 5 years or so and all my experience has been with big tanks. So it would be nice to have something to look at while Im looking thru these forums, since my office and main tank are not in the same room.

Default Nano Dream

This is the cutest! When I saw this, I automatically thought of entering for a chance to get this spectacular set-up for my mother!! She owns her own In-Home Health Care where she,my father and my sister take care of Alzheimer's patients. A saltwater tank is the perfect thing I explained to them-the patients can enjoy watching the non-stop activity-which is so stress-free! A beautiful tank would be ideal-but they are worried about the size/maintenance. THIS WOULD BE PERFECT!!!! So here is my entry-for them. Thank you.

Hello, I would love to win the Nano Tank! We are a family of 10, 8 kids, 5 of whom were foster children that we adopted. We went on to have 3 natural children, one of whom was born with down's syndrome, the other two came as of suprise package of twins! We have several special needs children and our tank has added so much to our family time. We originally wanted to get an aquarium because we had heard how soothing it can be (the reason they are in dentist and doctor's offices!). Our little 7 year old with downs can get very agitated at the dinner table and we thought the tank could bring some calming effect. It really has worked wonders! She is very small and we need to get more food into her. Because she is so busy watching the fish during meals (we have our 60 gal tank in our dining room) she does not realize we are getting her to eat!

We have three boys with ADHD. I have been having them do their homework in the dining room and they seem to have so much more focus. They look up and see the fish swimming around and they get back on task. This has been an added bonus. Plus all the kids have been learning so much about nature and the whole eco system in the ocean.

The new tank would allow our older boys to have their own little system. While all the kids have been able to pick out their own fish, I have set parameters due to the fact that our current tank is for peaceful fish only. The boys would like to get some more agressive types that we could not add into our peaceful tank.

Since the older boys have done so much to help with the younger ones and have had to make sacrifices due to special needs of other kids, I think this would be a great way to tell them thanks.

We would love to be the recipients of the Nano Tank! Thanks!

Bev
