Here are some pictures of the system. I am not selling all the rock because I will need it for the replacement tank.

Thanks

Say you were going to sell just the tank.. How much would you ask for it?

I will be upgrading a little down the road and am considering a 72g Bow or a 92g Corner. So for now I'm just comparing the twos pro's and con's.. Ballpark..

I really don't know what to ask for it. I saw an 80g perfecto the other day tank stand canopy and it was 1600, new. Maybe 700 w/ the vho's since they are retrofitted. The stand is starting to show it's age a little but other than that it's perfect.

Somebody should have bought the system quick when I had the whole thing at 700 before I realized what I actually had. I would sell the whole system for 1200 obo

Yea I understand what your saying about deciding on a price.. Either way, when selling any size system, it is always hard to decide on a fair price because so much is put into it $ wise and a lot of $ will always be/feel lost when judging a fair price for possible buyers.

The best price I have found so far is on a 92g Corner for $510, slightly used with SW for 3 weeks, but the same tank brand new is $700-$900 so thats $190-$390 off already.. And just my (rare) luck! Its Pick-up only in Chicago! Karma?

Where are you located at? Shipping my tank will be way expensive because the oceanic is 1/4 inch glass not 1/8 like most tanks. That is one reason I was really thinking about keeping it. You can't get them in Oklahoma since they relocated their manufacturing facility to Minnesota or somewhere way up north like that. Shipping is as much as the system

NW Burbs of Chicago in Algonquin. Yes,shipping is very expensive especially on fragile heavy glass items half way across the country. If I found a decent price I would probably end up driving out to pick it up anyways.

I would make you a good deal on it, if you decide you want it? Considering I'm an old f-body fan myself. 2 Trans Ams ( 81 6.6l & 88 GTA), then an 00 Pewter Z28. Guy ran a stoplight and clipped me. Totalled it, bent the frame almost 10 degrees out of square.

Yes I will let you know if I do end up going through with one of the two tanks. Nice, a 6.6L.. Now thats true Smokey & The Bandit material right there! The GTA's are beauties as well! My condolences to your Z28 though, why do their lives always end at a stoplight with someone else to blame..? Two buddies have had the same thing happen to them, both in F-Bodies. 10* is too much for frame restoration, I feel for ya hard!
