Default Coral Dipping

I've been coming across discussions about dipping new coral frags before putting them in you display tank. I've been running searches on the web and can't find much info about it. Anyone out there dipping your corals? If so, what do you use, whats the process, and what kind of illnesses can corals get that requires dipping. I'm new to corals and want to do everything necessary to keep them and my tank healthy.

I was reading on another fish site about this. People are using fresh RO/DI water to drive out hitchhikers that they do not want, like flatworms (not aiptasia) rock crabs, etc. I did this with my last purchases, you can chase out some of the good stuff, as well, like pods.

Are you sure it was the bath that did it?
