Default Reef-A-Palooza

I see this event is happening next weekend down in Costa Mesa California. It is about a 9 hour drive for us one way, but if people think it is worth it I would love to attend. I want to see what there is out there, plus I really want to check out the zero edge aquariums that are going to be displayed there.

Has anyone ever attented this event before?
Is it worth the long drive and the two night stay?
How would I bring home frags purchased there back home safely?
Is there anything like this up in Northern California?

I have searched and found nothing up here in Sonoma County, or anywhere near. I was told by the lfs that they have to go to Southern Cal. for all their shows.

Any info I can learn from you would be great!
Thank You
