Default Moving Ricordia

I've got a new live rock I just purchased saturday with purple and red mushrooms, xenia, and some ricordia. Once the ricordia has really spread out in the morning he covers up the smaller ricordia right beside him and am wondering if it would be easy for me to move him??? Also since the tank is relatively new it is still bare because of my money supply and was wondering if I could move the Xenia very easily because it is on about 10 parts of the rock?!?!

You can either cut or scrap the Xenia from the place it is attached. Goodluck! Xenia doesn't take long to attach to a new surface. Mine took a day.

I had a combo rock like that once. I broke the rock apart so that each coral had it's own rock. That way I could decide which coral goes where in the tank. You could do that if you dont want to risk killing the coral.

I don't really want to break the rock up because I like the shape and holes in it...So I think after talking to everyone I'm just going to chop some coral off and use some bridal mesh and place at bottom of tank...

That should work good. Xenia usually spreads quickly uphill, so you want to make sure that you keep it higher up in the tank so it doesn't start spreading over everything. Due to the size of Xenia, when I frag it I usually frag it near it's base.
