did you buy one that needs fragging or did it grow in your tank ... i would wait for a better source but i think you just gently break off a branch but could be wrong

Is it the typical branching type or is it the more rare non-branching type? If it is the branching type, you can either snap it below the heads at the base with your hands or use a bone cutter, dremel, metal cutters, etc... If it is the non-branching type, let me know and I'll do a little writeup for you.

mine is the branching kind, and you can just break it below the head.. if theres no visible whiteness under the heads, i would bring it back to health first.. if its yellow it's not growing.. you'll see the diference. a healthy frogspawn will grow pretty nicely and easy to break...

i had 25 heads on mine and a piece of coral that fell in the tank and landed directly on top of it took care of that lol, now i have 2 nice pieces...

I have heard they grow pretty quickly.

I got mine with 4 heads for 15$ and 60$ worth of gas

I was trying to be good to the environment by buying a frag, but probably would have been better just to buy a wild one.

Elliott made a couple videos re: fragging not to long ago. I wouldn't call him cute however.

Not sure if you are Jim or Rebecca, but if you are Jim I sure hoope you wouldnt call me cute!!!

And those vids I made were only soft corals. I have yet to frag an lps or sps, but they dont seem too challenging to frag at all.

It's Jim and as you might be able to guess...I am into Rebecca. So no need for concern, Elliott! I included her on this because when we first got our tank it was going to be our hobby. Nowadays I do all the maintenance and research. She just enjoys the tank.
