 i have a red mushroom coral and theres TINY white worms ........ i have a red mushroom coral and theres TINY white worms like in the mouth area of the coral theres like 5 tiny ones and there all like entangled together what is this?? is this bad ???? its only when i move it that they get out but when i leave the frag alone the worms appear to go back in the tube/ mouth of the mushroom ahould i be worried ? o and is it ok if my hermit crabs climb on top of my mushroom corals ??

| Re: i have a red mushroom coral and theres TINY white worms ........ those are not worms...they are the mushrooms insides lol. When a mushroom gets really stressed out they will throw those things out. Once the mushrooms settles and bit and the thing stressing the mushroom leaves or stops they will suck them back up so to say.

Yes that is what it is,and yes it is ok for your crabs to walk all over them.Mushrooms are very hardy and if your parameters are good the should multiply rapidly.For exaqmple i bought three super red mushrooms about 8 months ago,i now have about 25 and keep growing.By the way anybody in our area willing to trade i would be more than happy.
