| it should recover ok, shrooms can take a beating. Let it settle down before you try and mount it again. When you superglue do you use superglue gel or just normal superglue? You have to use the gel or it won't work. I use Loctite Super Glue Gel. You can get it at any corner store like walgreens or CVS.

| I did try the gel, and I've tried that brand before but with no luck. Do you have to take both pieces that you're trying to glue together out of the tank and dry them? From what I've read is that as long as one piece is dry when you apply the glue, you can glue them underwater, but I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? Thanks, Liz |

| Both objects that are being glued together have to be out of the water and wiped with a dry. If you do not do this, there is a chance the glue will not hold, thus creating the same exact problem you had to start with. 'make sure you get the super glue gel....it works wonders.
