Default my "mushie" are trying to leap off their rock

I don't get it, my husband's mushrooms don't go too far. My son lost a bloom last week. It hid under a rock. It is blooming daily under there. Now I have 2 more threatening to jump. Should I be concerned?

I have had the same prob. Mine all bleached and then pelled off there rock and reattached elsewhere. All i can figure is to much light, they are tonga blue or Rhododactis inchoata mushrooms. Any advice out there, everything else is doing great params perfect, using r/o water.

The piece of LR the mushrooms came on is way overcrowded! Mine might be trying to make room. It is only happening on one side of the rock...a lot like lemmings. No other signs of stress, no bleaching, no innards poking out. Still watching it closely.

Sometimes if there is to much flow on mushrooms, they will "jump ship" to get away from the flow, Strong light will do this as well... I have some mushrooms that just adore being up as high as I can place them and others that thrive only where its shaded in the tank...

That was one of my first thoughts, so I moved them a little out of the way of both. Yesterday I just happened to look in the tank as one mushroom was splittling into 2. The rock they came on is smaller than a cassette tape and it is completely covered with shrooms. I have a feeling I will have more jumping ship within the next couple of weeks. My shrooms are breeding like rabbits!

Just red...nothing exciting, my kid picked it out. He has some say on what goes in his tank and he picked red.
