| It is possible to get it off the glass. Rinse your hands off first to get rid of any lotions/oils etc. Then use some tweezers to curl the edges of the disc up a bit. After it is curled, you can use a razor blade and scrape it off the glass. To get it to attach to where you want it, use wedding veil type material and cover the mushroom with it and then anchor it down. As far as the supplemental feeding goes, as long as the lighting is sufficient, it is unnecessary. |

| well it has 2 weeks now and the mushroom appears to be moving itself off the glass and onto the rock, I am keeping a close eye on it to make sure it doesnt float awy but these creatures are amazing, I never expected them to move around the tank by themselves, Thanks again Ellen ps I am setting up a new 29 gal, I have a bunch of limestone that I had used for african cichlids and I am starting up the new tank with that, ( after cleaning with vinegar etc),so i will probably move most of the stuff in my small tank into that one in a couple of months. |
