I'm considering building my own reef tank, about 135 gallons. The garf.org site has what appears to be good information on building a tank out of wood. I have gotten information on reinforcing the sides from another website about a 240 g wood aquarium. What I need is some ideas as to what to build as far as the exterior look goes. If anyone has pictures of a wood aquarium that they have built I'd like to see them. I am especially interested in DIY hoods and stands.
I have not worked with wood since I took shop in high school, several decades ago.

So, if you also want to share building techniques, feel free. My big problems are how to finish the exterior for a near funiture look and what the exterior will look like.
