A Fuge would be great but adding more then a return pump will be hard.

There are many sump designs that can work , like a cheap plastic container and some plumbing. This would help hide equipment.

Do you have alot of add ons?

10 gallon probably not gonna be big enough to hold very much equipment, however you could build a pretty good refugium out of it.

Here is a good site for some information.

Go out and get yourself a 20 gallon and then make the sump/fuge, it will work sooo much better.

Water drains from the tank into the far right side of the tank where it is skimmed and then goes through the bubble trap to the center, where the return pump is. The return pump returns most of the water back to the tank but also runs a line to the far left side of the tank where the fuge is, which then overflows back into the return pump section. It has worked wonderfully for me so far.

And its a 20 gallon long tank for my 55 gallon display.

I would like to re-do all the plumbing for the entire tank but its all glued into place so i will just have to live with it. It was my first time with all of this, my first reef tank(not counting the 30g when i was like 14) and it was most definitely a learning experience.
