Default Tank Cleaning thoughts ?

Short of having to stick my hand in my tank with a turkey baster to blow off the rock anybody have a trick to make this easier and less wet. I have a 120 thats about 2 ft deep I have put my baster on the end of a long hose that extends to where I need to get it but after a couple of trys I must empty the hose and baster and start again. After a while my squeezing ability of the bulb of the baster just doesn't exisits. A BIGGER BULB WOULD HELP, but I can't seem to find one and I know I have seen them someawhere. Been toying with the idea of getting one of those battery operated vacuums but that won't help I don't think gettting the detrius out of the real pouris rock, you need pressure to blow it out . Would a small air compressor work without freaking the fish out ? If any one has a technique they would like to share it would be appreciated.

get longer tubing and put one end partially infront of your filter discharge to get the proper flow to your baster?

I get my hands wet while doing it, but I like using a semi-weak powerhead instead of a turkey baster because you can get all of the rocks done a lot quicker.

You could buy a cheap (relatively small) canister filter. Something like this;Canister Filters: Rapids Mini Canister Filter at Drs. Foster and Smith
You can modify it. I bought it for cleaning the sump etc.

if you have an extra powerhead.. maybe cut some fins or trim some off of the impeller to slow the flow... add some tubing onto the discharge then into your turkey baster?
