| Yes you probably can build a stand I don't know how (not that good with wood myself) or maybe hanging it over the tank if you don't have enough wood or materials for the frame just throwing some ideas out there![]()

| I Would Build A Canopy Top For The Tank, You Can Hang Your Lighting By Simply Screwing Them Into The Top, This Is How Mine Is Setup, And It Works Really Good. I Would Offset My Canopy To Where You Have At Least A 1 Inch Gap All The Way Around The Tank, Then The Way You Place It On The Tank Securely, Just Use 4........ 2 By 2 Blocks At Least 4 Inch's Long, This Will Make The Canopy Easy To Put On An Take Off. |

| oooo i c thanks. either ill try that idea or try just cutting a board thats like 2 inches longer than the tank on each side and leave 1-2 inch cutouts across the board, to let light through and let the light sit on that, but that looks kinda ghetto haha.

| You can also have 2 pieces of glass that lay all the way across the tank, front to back. They need to be a bit longer than the width of the tank, and 3-4 inches wide. Yopu just lay these across the tank at either end then lay your light on top of the glass. That is how the light sat on our old tank, because the tank was 4 feet long and the light was 3 feet long. You also need to make sure that your bulbs themselves are not directly over the water, meaning the light in enclosed, ours had a clear plastic cover over the bulbs. The plastic cover got salt buildup on it, but not the bulbs themselves, so you just had to wipe the cover off now and then. |
