Default PVC overflow plans needed

Hey All, does anyone have good plans for a PVC overflow (as in just PVC - no box, no tubes, no tank holes)? The couple that I found in searching the net aren't clear enough to me - I would like to see close-up pictures of the different sections.

Thanks in advance!

Here is a website with great stuff. Not PVC though Acrylic. I'm making an overflow shortly for one of my small tanks (30g)
Melevsreef.com | Acrylic Sumps & Refugiums

Hope this helps

I used these for my 180 gallon. Might help you out a little.

I was reading ur page linked above and had a suggestion for you. The airline tubing that is connected in the U-bend of the tubing that you are using to prime the tubing. Try taking that and connecting it to a power head that uses "eductor" theory to suck any air that might build up. This would also be a sort of auto-prime feature in case of a power failure then restart... I am thinking of a maxi-jet powerhead that has the attachment which clips on to the outlet where you can attach an air hose to help aerate the the water. you could either use the flow to fill the overflow downstream of the u-bend (easier on box style overflows) or just as a powerhead for flow in the tank. It would only cause bubbles during the initial startup until the air is sucked out of the u-bend. Hopefully this makes some sense to someone other than myself here... LOL... good luck with it though! If you have any other questions try doing a search on the rapids pro filter with the auto-siphon (i think it is ps4) but not the one using a vacuum pump....i'll take some pics and post....
