Default DIM refugium

I have a 55g reef tank and am looking to add a refugium. I would like to make a 20g fuge. I was wondering if...

A: would a 20 gallon tank fit under my tank without having to take the stand apart?

B: if a 20 gallon tank wouldnt fit, is it possible to get two 10's (i know they fit) and take one glass panel off from each tank and then glue them together all while under the tank.

Any info on this would be terrific. Thanks in advance!

you use soft tubeing and a bulkhead and superglue it. also if u get a 20g long i think it will fit but a regular 20g will not because i tried it once with my 20g.

alright, so then i would get the 1/2 inch bulkhead fitting. So, if i had 1/2 inch pvc pipe, it would fit on that? would i be able to get the threaded adapter and screw it onto the bulkhead as well, or do i just glue it?

If you use pvc pipe you will have to glue it permanently to the over flow and will have to get a pvc conector from the hardware store to be able to conect and disconect without having to saw off the pipe. I would recomend flexible tubing like the one use in washing machines or on pools for it if less expensive and easier to conect an disconect.
