i forget who it was on here, but someone had said they made a little stand out of pvc pipe for their rock for better circulation.

i would hate to admit it, but my tnak is a bit of a mess at the moment.

ive been trying to make things myself like an overflow box, but that didnt go so well, so, i decided to go ahead and buy one and give my tank a whole new look.

i do need better flow behind my rockwork, so i will be adding a spray bar.

but, i also though it would be nice to life the rock up a little just barely off the sand to add in the flow.

so im wondering, what would be the best way to make the little stand?

aslo, what would be the best way to go about and rearange everything in my tank?
i would also like to do a general cleanup of everyhitng, meaning rinse the rockwork(every nick and crany).

any advice/suggestions are much appreciated.

you can just cut some 2"pvc pipe about 1/2" longer than the depth of your sand bed and stick them in the sand verticaly this is very e-z and works great,,if you want hi spots you can go a tad longer. to rearange and clean what i did was to fill a 5 gallom bucket with frehs sea water and took every thing out and swooshed it and replaced it,,,,,cleans without a total tank re-cycle
